- In the body of text you need to clearly detail name of the author and the year their work was published - citation
- Should be able to be cross referenced to a more detailed list at end (Reference list / Bibliography)
- Both should be systematic, uniform, thorough and easy to understand.

How to research
- Identify topic. create clear goals and project aims.
- Create a list of key concepts. This can also help with your research focus, searching key words/phrases.
- Consider different types of info; library, online
- Write up notes
- Analyse and organise research. start to note key patterns/trends
