Rack Focus Practical

Practical task:

Rack focus - manually changing focus from one subject to another in a video

In these videos I had a go at using the rack focus technique by manually moving the camera lens. I found that it was quite sensitive to control and you only had to move it very slightly.

- bit overexposed

- could have used a tripod to avoid camera movement

- could have filmed the video a bit longer so the change in focus was clearer and the video doesn't cut off so abruptly

- I think this example was better but again I could have filmed for longer so it was clearer to see the change in focus
